最近有传闻称，坎特愿意在今年夏天重返英超，对此，知名解说员詹俊表示，也许利物浦可以考虑一下引进坎特。
詹俊在社交媒体上写道：“听说坎特愿意重返英超，利物浦的制服组是不是考虑一下？让他补强后腰位置，帮远滕航减减压、带一带巴伊切蒂奇也好……”
在今年夏天的欧洲杯当中，坎特表现出色，在法国队的6场比赛中全部首发出场，并且在2场比赛中被评为全场最佳球员。
