据中国航天科技集团微博，7月15日，国产首颗全电推通信卫星——亚太6E在香港通过了卫星在轨技术验收评审和地面系统最终技术验收评审，标志着亚太6E通信卫星完成在轨测试，正式投入运营。亚太6E通信卫星是迄今全球首颗从低地球轨道（LEO）到地球同步轨道（GEO）全自主实现轨道转移的通信卫星。
