尚未公布的《异形：火力小队2（Aliens Fireteam Elite 2）》泄露，本作消息在Reddit上传播。
据Reddit上网友发布的消息截图，《异形：火力小队2》代号Project Macondo，2025年第三季度发售。作为《异形：火力小队》的续作，加入了新的游戏模式“歼灭（Annihilation）”，实际上就是其他类似射击游戏的部落模式（Horde Modes）。
此外，和初代游戏不同，《异形：火力小队2》有着预设好的角色和不可定制的角色。没有微交易，战利品箱或其他氪金机制。
游戏内没有内置语音聊天，建议玩家需要使用主机内的语音聊天APP。
《异形：火力小队1》2023年发售，Cold Iron和迪士尼旗下20世纪游戏联合开发。
