北京时间7月8日，塔图姆因个人事务延迟两天回归国家队，目前已经归队。
有趣的是，塔图姆将自己的头发剪掉了，发型酷似新秀时期的他。并且身穿自己冠军球衣。
塔图姆说道：“我来之前把头发剪掉了，准备好参加奥运会，准备好参加训练营，准备好成为球队的一员。很高兴来到这里。”
这是塔图姆第二次奥运之旅，此前曾率队在东京奥运会上夺得冠军。
