6月25日晚，有顾客在短视频平台反映河南新乡胖东来“擀面皮”店卫生问题。胖东来迅速响应，关停两店餐饮部联营商户，成立调查组彻查。6月27日凌晨，胖东来发布调查报告，奖励揭露者10万元，为受影响顾客退款并补偿1000元，共883.3万元。相关责任人受处理，擀面皮商户停业并解约。
