为庆祝2023-24学年第一学期哈罗人取得的各项闪闪发光的荣誉，哈罗横琴举办了一场特殊的学校颁奖集会，隆重庆祝学生、学校管理团队和教职工们取得的方方面面的发展成果，为一学期的勤奋努力交上了精彩的答卷，也为新学期的开启谱写了华丽的序章。

数字公民项目

本学期哈罗横琴发布了全新的教学项目——“数字公民周”，旨在为学生提供负责任、尊重和安全的在线参与所需的知识和技能。在为期一周的项目里，所有年级的学生都参加了引人入胜的活动，包括“太空避难所”、“Interland”和谷歌的网络钓鱼测试等。

二年级的Chloe和七年级的Channing分别获得了本周低年级数字公民和本周高年级数字公民的称号，在参与活动、互助精神和关键概念的认识上都有突出表现。

其中低年级EAL老师Olivia Wen荣获2023年度横琴粤澳深度合作区教育系统优秀教师称号。

高年级英语老师Joanna Chang在第十一届金湾航空艺术季“粤唱粤美好”粤语歌曲大赛总决赛斩获冠军。

而哈罗横琴外方校长马千里博士，更是被Knowledge Review杂志评选为“2024年亚洲最具影响力的教育领导者”。

To commend the achievements by Harrovians in the first term of the 2023-24 academic year, a special whole school awards assembly was held at Harrow Hengqin last Friday tocelebrate all aspects of development achieved by the students, the senior leadership and staff,providing a wonderful answer to a term of hard work and a magnificent prelude to the start of the new term.

“Prepare for a Dynamically Evolving Future!”

Digital Citizenship Programme

Digital Citizenship Week was a week-long initiative focused on empowering students with the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible, respectful, and safe online engagement. Throughout the week, students across all grades participated in engaging activities, including interactive games like 'Space Shelter,' 'Interland,' and Google's Phishing test.

Grade 2's Chloe and Grade 7's Channing earned the titles of Lower School Digital Citizen of the Week and Upper School Digital Citizen of the Week, respectively. Their tutors referenced their engagement in the activities, Fellowship and awareness of the key concepts.

Staff Individual Achievements

While celebrating the fruitful achievements of Harrow students, we must not forget to recognise our outstanding teachers, who have led by example and excelled in their teaching and talent.

Olivia Wen, Lower School EAL teacher, was awarded the title of Outstanding Teacher in the Education System of Hengqin Guangdong Macao In-Depth Co-operation Zone for the year 2023.

Upper School English teacher Joanna Chang won the championship in the grand final of the 11th Jinwan Art Festival "Sing Cantonese for a Better Future" Cantonese Song Contest.

Dr Max Caruso, Head Master of AISL Harrow Hengqin, has been named by Knowledge Review magazine as"Asia's Most Influential Education Leader to Watch, 2024".
