当地时间1月28日，尼日尔军政府发言人阿马杜·阿卜杜拉马内发表声明称，马里、布基纳法索和尼日尔宣布立即退出西非国家经济共同体（西共体），理由是西共体在军政府接管政权后对三国实施的制裁是不公正的，并且西共体未能协助这三国打击恐怖主义和改善不安全局势。（总台记者 何北平）
