北京时间1月18日，勇士官方确认球队塞尔维亚助教米洛耶维奇突发心脏病去世，终年46岁。中国男篮主帅乔尔杰维奇在个人社交媒体上向他的塞尔维亚老乡表示了悼念。
他写道：愿你永垂不朽，善良的人啊，安息吧，向你的家人致以最诚挚的慰问。
米洛耶维奇在2021年加入勇士教练组，这件不幸的事发生后，NBA官方宣布勇士对战爵士和独行侠的两场常规赛都将推迟。
