平漯周高铁是沪银高铁中宁洛高铁的一段，沪银高铁分为洛银高铁和宁洛高铁两阶段建设，项目横跨上海、江苏、安徽、河南、山西、陕西、宁夏七省级行政区，经上海、南京、滁州、阜阳、周口、漯河、平顶山、洛阳、运城、延安、吴起、吴中、银川等地市。
计划2023年开工，2026年建成通车。该项目建成通车后，将大幅度缩短宁夏银川至上海和东部沿海地区的时间！
