1月5日，山姆会员店首席采购官张青在接受媒体采访时称，山姆全国门店的续卡率持续提升，2024年，山姆仍将通过提升效率和供应链的策略为会员带来价格下调。据《晚点 LatePost》2023年9月的报道，山姆年续卡率稳定在 60% 以上。
