在2014广州车展正式开展的前夜，奔驰官方正式发布了全新子品牌梅赛德斯-迈巴赫旗下的首款车型——梅赛德斯-迈巴赫 S 600（下文简称迈巴赫 S 600）。这款车型是用来填补迈巴赫57和62车型消失后，留下的市场空白，也就是说它现在是整个奔驰集团的全新旗舰车型。
