再度联手哥大全球中心｜北京，面向高中生发起“力求改变的英才计划”

我们的启创中心和哥伦比亚大学全球中心合作再进一步——正式签署协议，将共同推进社会创新项目。

启创中心和哥伦比亚大学全球中心 | 北京将在未来3年内，共同发起面向中学生的多项社会创新项目，其中最值得期待的是“力求改变的英才计划”（Fellowship for Change，以下简称FFC）。

参加FFC将获得什么？

这是双方继今年4月合力打造“力求改变的创业”峰会（Venture for Change Summit，以下简称VFC峰会）之后的进一步深化合作。FFC将培养热情而拥有情怀的高中生成为给社会系统带来积极改变的变革者。学生将对复杂的社会或环境问题进行深度研究，而后针对其中的根本问题执行解决方案，并产生持续的影响。

FFC将每年从全国范围内遴选20名杰出的、关注服务的高中学生，并为他们颁发奖学金。他们将在哥伦比亚大学教授、行业专家和社会领先机构的带领和指导下，参加学习峰会，设计并完成他们的社会影响力项目。

他们将获得世界级的教育、培训和资源，掌握社会创新所必需的技能和知识，为亟待解决的社会和环境问题提出高质量的创新方法。

启创中心通过分享教育、培训和资源来培养青年社会创业者，哥大全球中心通过挖掘与社会议题及其解决方案相关的教育和培训资源，赋能社会创新实践者获得全球视野和实操技能。

怎样参加FFC？

首期FFC将于2024年1月起开始，从全国遴选20名高中生，参加于7月正式启动的项目。我们鼓励参加VFC的学生、来自全国各地拥有不同背景、关注服务的青年创变者参选和申请全额奖学金。

2023年4月，来自启明星等全国多所高中的55名中学生、包括启明星的学生相聚一起，参加了首届VFC峰会。在3天的峰会中，学生们组成了16支创新团队，打磨和展示各自的社会创业项目，体验了一场绝佳的变革性教育。

55名学生们聆听来自各个行业的专家和一线实践者分享自己的创业理念和心路历程，参与了相关技能主题的训练营，并在之后的导师辅导和思想实验室阶段，打磨和完善各自小组的创业计划，进而在峰会的路演阶段讲好创业故事，获取来自活动主办方的持续支持。峰会最后一天，路演中胜出的队伍获得了50,000元人民币作为种子基金。

2024年3月8日至10日，启创中心和哥伦比亚大学全球中心｜北京将举办第二届VFC峰会，支持参赛队伍将各自的社会创业想法变成现实。

After jointly hosting the Venture for Change Summit in April this year, our Qi Social Innovation Center and Columbia Global Centers have joined hands again and officially signed an agreement to work together to promote social innovation.

The Qi Social Innovation Center and Columbia Global Centers I Beijing will jointly launch multiple social innovation programs for secondary students within the coming three years, with the most anticipated being theFellowship for Change(hereinafter referred to as FFC).

What is the FFC?

This is a further deepening of cooperation between the two sides, following the joint efforts to create the Venture for Change Summit (VFC) in April this year. The Fellowship for Change program cultivates passionate, caring high school youth to be systems change leaders for life. Students deeply research and connect with a complex social or environmental issue and implement a solution that addresses the root cause and creates sustained impact.

Fellowship for Change will select 20 outstanding service-oriented high school students from across the country every year and grant them scholarships to participate in this unique Fellowship program.Under the leadership and guidance of professors from Columbia University, industry experts, and leading social organizations, fellows will participate in learning summits through the creation and implementation of their social impact projects.

During this process, they will have the opportunity to obtain world-class education, training, and resources and master the expertise and knowledge necessary for social innovation, promoting a high-quality innovative approach to address urgent social and environmental issues.

More than that, the Qi Social Innovation Center has refined its curriculum, educational methods, and teacher resources through cooperation with institutions such as Columbia Business School over the past few years. By bringing Columbia University’s expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship to China, we hope the boundaries of traditional education can be broken, providing a broader development space for the youth. It is only through continuous learning and collective effort that we can take practical action and change the world.

The Qi Social Innovation Center cultivates young entrepreneurs by sharing education, training, and resources. Columbia Global Centers empower social innovation practitioners and allow them to acquire a global perspective and practical skills by tapping into educational and training resources related to social issues and their solutions.

How to participate in FFC?

The inaugural Fellowship for Change will officially begin in July 2024, with a cohort of 20 high school youth changemakers with the recruitment process starting in January.Participants from Venture for Change and other outstanding service-oriented youth changemakers from diverse backgrounds from around China are encouraged to apply for the 20 full-scholarship spots.

In April 2023, 55 high school students from numerous middle and high schools across the country, including Daystar, participated in the inaugural Venture for Change. During the 3-day summit, students teams refined and pitched their social ventures and experienced a transformational educational event.

Those 55 students listened to experts and frontline practitioners from various industries share their entrepreneurial ideas and journeys. They also participated in training workshops on related themes and refined and improved their social venture plans during the mentoring and studio lab sessions. On the final day of the VFC summit they took the stage to pitch with winning teams receiving a total of 50,000RMB in funding to launch their ventures.
