从相关部门获悉，合肥都市圈南环线正在等待环评批复。因为南环线隧道需要穿过巢湖，隧道总长16.1公里，其中下穿巢湖水域12.3公里，长度超过太湖隧道一旦建成，将成为国内最长的湖底隧道！合肥大外环将连接合肥市区往巢湖，庐江，肥东，长丰和肥西等方向，加强市区与周边区域的联系！将大大方便合肥市民出行，加强周边的区域交流！
