据《华尔街日报》、路透社，美国做空机构兴登堡研究公司5月2日表示，正在做空有“华尔街之狼”之称的激进投资者卡尔·伊坎（Carl Icahn）的上市控股公司。
兴登堡表示，伊坎企业（Icahn Enterprises）的估值过高，并且持有的一些资产价格虚高。
据福布斯统计，在做空报告发布后，伊坎企业股价下跌使伊坎的净资产缩水29亿美元，估计他的资产净值目前约为147亿美元。
