1991年12月25日，苏联正式解体为15个国家，分别为：
1、俄罗斯联邦
2 、乌克兰；
3、白俄罗斯共和国；
4、爱沙尼亚；
5、拉脱维亚；
6、立陶宛；
7、哈萨克斯坦；
8、吉尔吉斯斯坦；
9、塔吉克斯坦；
10、乌兹别克斯坦；
11、土库曼斯坦；
12、格鲁吉亚；
13、亚美尼亚；
14、阿塞拜疆；
15、摩尔多瓦。
从此，15个国家分别走上了各自人民选择的制度和道路。
