站位是指运动员开始击球前的基本位置。乒乓球运动员的站位通常分为近台、中近台、中远台和远台4种。近台指站位离球台端线30～50厘米以内的范围；中近台指站位离球台端线50～70厘米以内的范围；中远台指离求台端线70～100厘米以内的范围；远台指离球台端线1米以外的范围。
