据央视新闻，巴西国家空间研究院当地时间12月9日发布数据称，今年11月，在亚马孙雨林地区，共有高达554平方公里的雨林存在毁林风险。这是自2015年有相关统计数据以来的次高纪录。
今年11月，根据巴西国家空间研究院利用Prodes系统统计发布的最新数据，在2021年8月到2022年7月期间，亚马孙雨林地区共有11568平方公里的森林遭到破坏，相比起上一个统计周期（从2020年8月到2021年7月），下降了11%。
