据路透社11月22日报道，印度尼西亚国家能源公司旗下的Pertamina国际航运公司（PIS）的董事Wisnu Santoso表示，该公司计划在未来五年内投资30亿美元来扩大船队，包括购买运输液化天然气（LNG）的船只。目前该公司的投资组合中还没有这种船只。
Pertamina国际航运公司（PIS）目前运营400多艘船舶，包括三艘超大型原油船（VLCC）和两艘超大型天然气船（VLGC）。
Wisnu Santoso说：“我们希望在未来五年内将船队的平均年龄从目前的20年左右降低到15年。”
