SE 公布了《最终幻想7 核心危机 重聚》的最新预告“不仅是复刻”，展示了本作中高清化的画面、进化的战斗系统、全新的召唤兽演出、重编的配乐等。
本作将于 2022 年 12 月 13 日登陆 PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One / Switch 平台，Steam 版预计在 12 月 14 日推出。
