10月13日， 长沙医学院扩建项目总平面图及外立面方案批前公示。
学校位于大泽湖街道和白沙洲街道，总用地面积约386547.43㎡，总建面约503488.76㎡，其中地上面积约463919.39㎡，地下面积约39569.17㎡，学生规模12000人。
项目预计投资20亿元，建设教学、行政、实践等教学用房，学生公寓、食堂、教师公寓等生活用房，其他附属配套用房，体育配套设施等。
