1904年，日本的土著，阿依努人。他们眉毛比较突出，毛发稠密，眼圆而深陷，睫毛长而分歧，鼻垂直，五官具有着欧罗巴人种的典型特征。
据史料记载，他们被认为是日本的土著，极盛时期，曾经占领过全日本。不过到了1870年，日本明治维新以后，现代户口制度在日本正式实行，他们从那时起在行政上被强制定义为“日本人”。
