8月26日，据美国科技博客The Verge报道，谷歌旗下导航应用Waze将关闭其已有六年历史的拼车服务，理由是新冠疫情导致通勤模式改变。从9月开始，该公司将开始逐步关闭其在美国、巴西和以色列提供的拼车服务。Waze表示，它将探索其他方式，以帮助服务使用其导航应用程序的1.5亿用户。
