昨日，根据《CNEWS 汇流新闻网》确认，得知新浪即日起暂停台湾市场运营，不再支持相关内容。
对此，新浪微博在台母公司美商华渊资讯股份有限公司台湾分公司表示，「因公司营运策略考量，将暂停台湾市场运营，自 8 月 1 日起将停止新浪台湾网站运营」。
除此之外，新浪于 2013 年推出的「新浪微博台湾站 tw.weibo.com」，经确认，该网站也同样已经无法进入。
据悉，新浪台湾于 1998 年 11 月正式成立运作，自 2010 年起在台湾市场推广微博服务，旗下微博在台湾已经拥有超过 250 万用户。
