中国工程机械工业协会官微消息，7月13日，双碳工作委员会成立大会以“线上+线下”的形式在北京举办，会议通过线上投票方式选举产生了首届理事会，中国机械科学研究总院集团有限公司副总经理李建友为双碳委首任会长，国家工程机械质量检验检测中心副总工程师邸鹏远为双碳工作委员会秘书长。
