当地时间6月16日，刚果（金）总统齐塞克迪主持的最高国防委员会会议结束后，政府发言人帕特里克·穆亚亚表示，最高国防委员会敦促政府“暂停与卢旺达达成的所有谅解备忘录、协议和公约”，理由是“卢旺达支持叛军与政府军在刚果（金）东部作战”。
