庞家山位于六都寨、大水田、司门前三个乡镇的交界之处，地理位置十分独特，是隆回县境内唯一一处可以看到四大名山和两大水库的地方，站在山顶观景台上放眼望去，白马山、望云山、大东山、九龙山，六都寨水库、木瓜山水库尽收眼底 。
