2022年4月7日上午10点15分，缅甸国防部长妙吞乌（Mya Tun Oo）上将在办公室接见了新任印度驻缅甸大使维奈·库马尔（Vinay Kumar）。
会谈中双方就进一步加强缅印防务合作交换了意见，还就进一步开展其他领域合作的条件以及进一步加强区域经济合作的必要性进行了亲切交流。
