中国地震台网正式测定：01月12日18时20分在青海海北州门源县（北纬37.69度，东经101.49度）发生5.2级地震，震源深度10千米。
继1月8日青海门源6.9级地震后这里刚才再次发生5.2级地震，震中周边震感明显，震中距国道227线13公里，距门源县城37公里，距离西宁市区122公里。
另据@中国地震台网速报消息，这次青海门源5.2级地震的震中距离四天前的青海门源6.9级地震的震中22公里，是目前最大的一次余震。
