根据外媒VGChartz的估测，NS全球销量已经超过Wii主机的生涯总销量。
截至2021年12月25日的一周内，NS卖出116万台，生涯销量达到1.0188亿台。Wii主机生涯总销量为1.0163亿台。NS主机的销量包含原版、NS Lite和NS OLED销量的总和。
NS主机现已成为史上销量排名第六的主机。它的下一个目标是初代PlayStation的1.0249亿台，然后是PS4的1.168亿台，再往上是Game Boy（含GBC）的1.1869亿台。
