2022年1月6日，根据《郑州市教育局办公室关于公布2021年绿色学校名单的通知》文件通知，郑州市第八十八中学获评郑州市绿色学校。
郑州市第八十八中学将按照绿色学校创建标准不断完善校园绿化环境、践行绿色发展理念，建立生态文明工作长效机制，使学校绿色生活方式蔚然成风。
