12月27日，记者从呼和浩特地铁运营公司了解到，为适应国家政策，该公司将“一名成年乘客带领两名及以上身高不满1.3米(含)的儿童乘车时，仅一名儿童免票，其他儿童按规定购票”的优惠政策修改为“一名成年乘客带领身高1.3米及以下的儿童时，儿童免费乘车。”
“Children who are 1.3m or less tall will travel free of charge when an adult passenger guides them.”
今后，每一名成年乘客可免费带领两名及以上不足1.3米(含)儿童乘车，即所有符合身高规定的儿童都能享受到免票优惠。
In the future, every adult passenger can take two or more children under 1.3 meters (including) for free, that is, all children who meet the height requirements can enjoy free tickets discount.
同时，地铁运营公司提醒乘客，儿童乘车须有成人监护陪同，成人付费乘车;成人带领身高1.3米及以下儿童乘车时，按照“儿童在前，成人在后”刷闸通过闸机，并联系车站工作人员帮助进站。
超过1.3米的儿童乘坐地铁也可享受优惠政策，在本市就读的中小学学生也可以办理学生卡，持卡进出地铁站享受5折票价优惠。

携带好以上材料，前往地铁1号线西二环路站、呼钢东路站、乌兰夫纪念馆站、人民会堂站、内蒙古展览馆站、市政府站、后不塔气站、白塔西站;地铁2号线内大南校区站、大学西街站、内蒙古体育馆站、百合路站的客服中心均可办理学生卡。
