这块近5万平方米的政府统征土地原先租给惠州市江南汽车市场博览中心有限公司作为汽车市场使用，租用时间至2021年9月30日止。9月18日，市自然资源局已经发函给对方，表示10月30日前要对方自行拆除建筑物并清理后交回给市自然资源局。回收后的这块政府统征土地，城市规划为公园绿地、教育用地、社会停车场用地和商业用地。
