作为一个资深解压视频爱好者，我怎么可能不看吃播呢哈哈。
主播们越来越卷，吃什么都有，吃家常菜、吃冰、吃炸鸡的都算“小儿科”了，还有的人专爱吃生鱼片活章鱼、甚至是吃土，后者都属于异食癖了。
然而最近最火的两种吃播，你可能猜不中，一种是吃各种颜色刚从冰箱里拿出来的冻蜂蜜膏；一种是宠物吃播。
现在最流行的吃播形式最早兴起于韩国，在油管上，有相当一部分吃播博主都是韩国人。因此，“吃播”的英文说法 Mukbang 也跟韩语有一定的渊源。
今天，我们就一起跟着Blair老师和外教 Colin 老师来聊聊“吃播”这件事，并学习和“吃东西”有关的英文表达吧⬇️

大量的
copious - in large amounts, or more than enough
They drank copious amounts of wine.

02.
指很无聊的事情
watch paint dry - used to refer to an activity that you consider extremely boring
“Don’t you want to watch the football?”
“你不想看足球赛吗？”
“To be honest, I would rather watch paint dry.”
“说实话，我宁愿看着油漆变干。”
Talking to Karen is like watching paint dry.
和凯伦说话真的很无聊。

形容非常饿，吃的很多
eat a horse — used to illustrate that someone is very hungry
I didn’t eat today and now I’m so hungry I could eat a horse.
我今天没吃东西，现在我饿的可以吞下一匹马。

fed up - bored, annoyed, or disappointed, especially by something that you have experienced for too long
I'm fed up with my job.

理解，明白；变得流行
catch on - to become fashionable or popular
I wonder if the game will ever catch on with young people?
我不知道这个游戏会不会受年轻人的欢迎?
Oversize clothing has really caught on with the youth of China.
超大号服装真的很受中国年轻人的欢迎。
07.
低估
underselling - to not give something or someone, especially yourself, the praise that is deserved.
Don’t undersell yourself - you have a lot to offer a company.
不要低估自己——你可以为公司提供很多东西。
Don’t listen to Rob. He always undersells everything. The movie was great.
别听罗布的，他总是贬低一切。这不电影很好看。
08.
人各有所好
different strokes for different folks - different things appeal to different people
No need to have the same thing as me, different strokes for different folks.
不需要和我一样，青菜萝卜各有所爱。
