据北京大学历史学系消息，中国共产党优秀党员、北京大学历史学系原党委书记、研究员王春梅同志，因病于2021年8月22日中午12时30分在北京逝世，享年72岁。
王春梅同志为教育事业鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已。她在2020年办理公证，郑重声明：“遗体无偿捐献，由北京市红十字会北京大学医学部安排供医学教学和科学研究使用。”
