芯研所消息，据moepc爆料，AMD的下一代线程撕裂者5000系CPU或将于今年8月发布，搭载Zen 3架构采用7nm工艺。
爆料称，新一代线程撕裂者5000系列本就是以EPYC 7003“Milan”为基础打造，代号为“Chagal”，基于7nm Zen3核心带来一系列改变，比如L3缓存等，预计最多64核128线程、256MB三级缓存，提供128条PCIe 4.0通道等，TRX40主板在升级BIOS后即可点亮。
性能方面，5000系CPU全局内存互连 (xGMI)速度从16 GT/s提高到18 GT/s，由于采用了Zen 3架构，IPC性能提升19%。
