证券时报网，据波音公司6月29日消息，美国联合航空宣布订购150架737-10和50架737-8，从而使其机队为下一阶段的市场恢复做好准备。新的交易使美联航对737 MAX的订购总数增加到了380架，其中30架已经交付。此次订单还包括购买737 MAX模拟机数据包来支持其飞行员培训项目。作为737-10的启动用户，美联航在2017年将100架737-9订单转为737-10订单。
