集市很热闹，人们从四周赶来交易粮食、农药、蔬菜玉米种子、水果和服装。由于平日住的分散，集市也是当地人重要的社交场所。人人穿着漂亮衣服前来赶集，蹲着、站着，一圈圈地在聊天。
