伊宁市六星街是一个古老街区，始建于1934年，是久负盛名、中国罕见、世界稀有的类似六角形的街巷。2010年2月1日，六星街被命名为新疆历史文化街区。长期生活在这里的8个民族1600多户居民以嵌入式居住结构，在6个扇形的街道中共同生活在一起，形成了独特的文化生活气息。
