广西灌阳县是湘江战役三大阻击战之一——新圩阻击战发生地。2014年9月，灌阳县对酒海井原有的红军纪念园进行规划扩建，修建了湘江战役新圩阻击战酒海井红军纪念园，并将散葬于民间的烈士遗骸归葬到酒海井红军墓。
