华硕近日推出了ThunderboltEX 4扩展卡，旨在为用户的台式机提供先进的Thunderbolt 4连接。
这款扩展卡采用的主控芯片为Intel JHL8540 Thunderbolt 4 Controller，并且采用PCI-Express 3.0 x4接口设计，可以安装在x4或更大的PCI-Express插槽上。
这款扩展卡设计了两个Thunderbolt 4接口(与Type-C通用)，每个接口具有40 Gbps的双向带宽。同时它还提供了两个迷你DP接口，可以输出至高8K分辨率的画面。
这款扩展卡还设计了6pin辅助供电接口，需要额外的PCIe供电支持，因为Thunderbolt 4能够为每个接口提供高达100W的功率输出。
目前，华硕还没有透露这款ThunderboltEX 4扩展卡的零售价。
