12月25日，农历十一月十一，通道独坡镇独坡村，侗族民众抬着“萨岁”神像绕着寨子沿寨巡游，祈求村寨平安。
当天是当地一年一度的侗族“祭萨”节，全村寨男女老少身着侗族盛装，放鞭炮、吹芦笙、敲锣打鼓，聚集在一起举行隆重的祭萨活动。他们欢快地载歌载舞，尽兴表演，吃百家宴，吸引了众多远道游客和周边民众来参与这独具特色的侗族传统节日活动。（胡斐 彭英 摄）
