占用耕地违规建房，在农村并不鲜见。日前，梅州丰顺县埔寨镇组织国土、规划等部门工作人员及多个村的“两委”干部40余人，出动1台大型机械钩机，依法对辖区范围内违法乱占耕地建房的7处约1000平方米的建筑进行统一拆除，有力震慑违建行为。
为遏制辖区新增农村乱占耕地建房行为，埔寨镇重点聚焦辖区易发多发地区，落实好日常巡查监管，以零容忍态度对违法乱占耕地建房行为进行整治，做到发现一宗、拆除一宗。同时，广泛宣传，着力营造保护耕地的浓厚氛围。
