智德东巷，故宫东侧，呈南北走向，两端曲折。北起北河沿大街，南止智德前巷，西靠智德西巷。全长207米，宽2米，沥青路面。
智德东巷，清代属皇城，光绪时称光禄寺东夹道，因此巷在光禄寺以东而得名。民国时，在光禄寺旧址建立了私立孔德学校，遂改称孔德东巷。1949年后沿称。1965年整顿地名时改称智德东巷。现巷内均为居民住宅。
