济宁市居民医保现已实施高血压、糖尿病“两病”患者门诊用药保障、居民普通门诊统筹等政策，同时新纳入了生长激素缺乏症等居民门诊慢性病种，脑瘫儿门诊慢性病年龄扩大至17岁，医保政策的普惠性进一步彰显。目前，济宁市居民参保人数为693.5万，参保率位居山东省前列。
