子曰：“觚不觚，觚哉！觚哉！”
觚是酒器，上圆下方，容二升。觚意为寡少，以劝解人们勿要沉溺于酒，但是现实恰好是，时俗贪杯，持着觚而畅饮，与寡少之意，已经相去甚远。
孔子说，觚早就不是觚了，还称什么觚也，还称什么觚呀。
