澳洲金匠 Colin Burn 不久前制作了号称全世界最贵的国际象棋，价值400万美元。整套棋子共使用了总重513克拉的白色钻石、南洋珍珠和AAA锡兰蓝宝石。
以King为例（如图），它使用了162克18K白金，33.974克拉钻石和2.775克拉蓝宝石。
目前这套国际象棋在加州比弗利山庄（Beverly Hills）的ACCA展览馆展出。
