6月30日，集宁经大同至原平铁路先行段（雁门关恒山隧道）正式开工，集大原铁路的开工建设，为奠定我市全国综合交通枢纽城市地位，构建大同高铁枢纽规划建设和促进城市发展起到巨大推动作用，极大方便沿线群众出行。
