6月19日，广西玉林一中学内数名学生拿课桌椅砸向另一学生。校方接受采访时称“处分肯定没有，只能批评教育”。此言论引发热议。6月22日晚，校长告诉记者，批评教育是第一步，目前计划对打人学生记大过处分。校长还称，涉事学生平时关系要好，因小摩擦发生冲突。
