城阳区惜福镇卫生院始建于1958年，占地6660平方米，床位35张。其中，于1978年新建门诊楼1500㎡；1982年新建住院楼1100㎡。由于基础建设方面存在困难，卫生院无法承担整个惜福镇片区人口的医疗卫生服务工作。
根据此前的消息，惜福镇街道计划建设中心卫生院，占地20亩，建筑面积15000平米。经该街道办事处最新落实，惜福镇卫生院拟建铁骑山路南、百福路东，计划今年开工建设。
