口音挑战风靡海外版抖音，太魔性了……

不久前，一个名为#thisismyvoice（这是我的声音）的挑战在“抖音”海外版Tik Tok上爆红。

在这一病毒式传播的视频挑战中，用户们展示了他们在亚洲国家生活一段时间之后口音的变化。

In front of a mirror, people record the "changes" in their voices after being exposed to a variety of situations, such as watching Kdramas and Japanese anime or moving to places with thick accents.

为什么口音容易受到环境影响呢？

纽卡斯尔大学语言学家达米安·霍尔博士对移居之后口音的改变及其成因进行了研究：

Subconsciously, you always have the impulse to adapt to your surroundings, wherever you are. So in London you've adapted the way you speak to a lowest common denominator accent – in otherwords, you've learned to speak without any regional peculiarities at all that would make you difficult to understand.
无论你在哪里，潜意识里，你总有一种适应周围环境的冲动。所以在伦敦时，你会用伦敦音说话——换句话说，你已经学会了自己说话时尽量减少他人难以听懂的地方口音。
